this is after 4 days of healing & lavender treatment. it’s no longer oozing puss. hurray? a lady at the shiba inu meetup last saturday was using a retractable dog leash & her dog decided to wrap himself around my bare legs while the leash was unlocked. ouch!!!!!

artan & i just got home from seward park and the furry 5k fun run. i was impressed with him! he made it the whole 3+ miles without fussing or even slowing down much.
given our jogging history, i fully expected to walk/jog him around 13+ minute miles. he’s the prince of distraction.

we came home from pies & pints tonight to find that artan had done what i’m sure will be only his first shredding of a specific personal object.
he’s mad at us for putting a roof on his enclosure and inconveniencing him to the point where it takes him longer to escape from his pen.
