phew…tired and still a little glittery

that was a fun show. i shimmied harder than i thought possible, but the coin skirt jared found for me made the most amazing sound. i was glad to see a lot of the ladies from my class, especially morgan la may, daisy dew, & red rocket. the greenroom of the rendezvous was full of sparkling performers & if you needed extra glitter all you had to do was to roll around on the floor.

red rocket had the most amazing belt buckle i’ve ever seen (after the jump - beware: derrière), as well as the limpest pimp cane. jared got a ton of pictures which i’m sure will be up at some point when we get internet back at our house.

the storm apparently only affected a few traffic signals and our comcast connection. now that we don’t have the aquarium any more power outages aren’t the threat that they used to be but still…annoying.

the best part about this belt buckle was the other side. you know how these types of buckles are secured by a straight pin that goes through the belt hole? yes. very thoughtful detail.
