iphones & isometrics

i determined yesterday that i will continue with the belly dancing if only to achieve the fitness & energy displayed by delilah (who was substituting for her daughter’s class last night) when i’m her age. this woman destroyed every 20-something there. i’m humbled, though it’s not like my few weeks of experience had anything on this anyway.

jared & i have ordered our 3G iphones. mine will be white, his will be black. jaime told me to make sure that the screen isn’t yellow tinged when it arrives. i told her if mine turns out that way it’s one thing, but god help us all if jared’s phone arrives flawed.

they’re all coming like that. apple has acknowledged it and says it was intentional. the screen in the previous one was too cool, blue tinged, they said. so even if i did want to whine about it they won’t do anything for me. they’ll just quietly replace the screens being put in them halfway through the product cycle and early adopters like us and everyone else will yell and scream and still buy the next one :p

i dunno if you count as early adopters given the iphone initially came out 19 months ago.

are there significant 3rd party apps yet?
