sytycd premiere ends with a pop

i don’t generally watch reality tv shows, however my friend sabrina was having a So You Think You Can Dance season premiere party (and she was serving lasagna) so i went and watched it. the final audition was by far the most entertaining. this guy is incredible (and adorable) enough to forgive the crappy facial hair:

You know… Some of these kids are really good at the start of the series. At the end, some of them are fantastic. They really grow with the right attention of professional choreographers and exposure to the other competitors and styles.

I too really loved this kid. But some of the ballroom dancers were great too. And, even though I’m getting old, I have a new respect for the best of hip-hop, b-boy, poppers, lockers and such. Some of these kids are really innovative and talented. Very inspiring.

Yeah, I watch too much TV. I like Food Network too!
