lenses for your busy & unpredictable apocalypse
since i got paid i finally reordered my contacts. i’m usually fine for a couple weeks without them, and jared kinda likes my nerdy glasses look…but after a while i begin to get tired of constantly adjusting them or squinting in sunlight. (i probably should get prescriptions sunglasses, i know) i’m the other side of magoo: i can focus on minute detail if something is up in my face, but anything an arms-length away goes all monet.
this is the opposite of jared so making out is kind of funny.
when i think about my eyesight (which is 3/4 to terrible) i think about what might happen to me during the apocalypse. or if i got dropped in the woods without my glasses or contacts.
i think the answer to both questions is “bear bait.”
try to imagine an apocalypse without bears. i can’t.
i’ve thought about lasik, and i think my insurance even covers lasik. i’ve had friends with good lasik stories and in general this seems to be a viable option. except that it’s scary!
lasers on my eyes? i’ll take my plastic discs thank you very much.
