so between the morphing amalgamations and the videogasms, & wondering whether or not it would be bad luck to disclose…i began to get worried that jacoby might not be getting up to the moment coverage on my life’s windfueled course. over the (well deserved) long weekend we did indeed find and engage the dream that is mutual agreeance regarding a condo.

holy shit! they accepted our offer!

so in the meantime we wait, and focus our attention on a new conquest…getting a puppy.

we’ve decided to look into breeders of shiba inu’s. our compromise breed between a corgi and a pomeranian. of course this is somewhere down the line of after we move in and scrape together what’s left of our liquid assets…but hooray! doggies are, in actual fact, fluffy.

back to the condo: we found a two-bedroom two-bath condo near bitter lake with a pool and indoor/outdoor jacuzzi’s. just in time for winter! anyway, as long as we bring the monies we can close in november when the condo’s finished with renovation (post inspection).

i’m at once happy and apprehensive. it will mean a lot of buckling down and actual budgeting. for the first time in my life i’m excited about the prospect of a home office, where i can do serious business, managing and organizing my life’s paper trail.

so here’s to avoiding the hammer, to saturn, and to my future floors. kampai!

-the community center is really nice, and has lots of youth sports and camps

there’s a new library there across greenwood avenue as well. when we asked the site agent what sort of businesses were near by, she said “well there’s a starbucks, and…a tully’s.”
