the heat is gone
for me, there are at least 3 qualifiers that indicate a complete summer:
1. ride in the boat with my bathing suit on
2. attend a bbq
3. go camping
it took a while to hit number 3, but last weekend we camped so i’m a little less inclined to regret that labor day is just around the corner. however, something i absolutely cannot handle is the receiving of the first company holiday card soliciation catalogs. and today my friends, is august 9th…and we received THREE.
not to mention the less than stellar weather seattle has experienced the last few days. i might have to start pulling out my alaskan fashion accessories.
i do like fall…i was born in the fall amd i enjoy the crisp, sunny clear days. the best part about fall is the weird weather-induced tension. oohp? is it winter? is it winter now? still a little summery? not quite! not quite!
but this is just too damn early.
